About Agios Gordios
The beach at Agios Gordios stretches for nearly two kilometres of golden sand, with the sea shifting from pale turquoise close to shore to deep blue further out. The surrounding landscape is striking — steep hillsides drop almost directly into the bay, giving the whole area a sense of scale you rarely find elsewhere on Corfu.
The road down to Agios Gordios winds through the hills and can be tricky to navigate if you are unfamiliar with the area, especially with luggage or young children in tow.
