About Angelokastro
Reached via a short footpath from the village of Krini, Angelokastro sits at the top of a sheer rocky promontory with the sea on three sides. The fortress dates back to the 13th century and was never captured in battle — a fact that adds a certain weight to walking its ancient walls. The views from the top, particularly at sunset, are among the best on the island.
The northwest coast is one of the less frequently visited parts of Corfu by private car, which makes getting there part of the experience. I used this service several time while in Corfu in June/July 2026, Pick up from ferry, transfer to Messonghi, transfer from Messonghi to airport and from Kanoni to paleokastritsa. Every time the pick up was early or on time. The vehicles were spotlessly clean and the driver was polite and helpful. A superb service that I highly recommend and will definitely use again when I am back in Corfu.

We booked a transfer from the airport to the ferry port and we arrived a lot earlier than we anticipated. Our driver spoke with the ticket office and managed to get us on the earlier ferry as we had already booked a later time, then drove us back to the ferry we need to board. I cannot rate Gerekos Transfers &Tours highly enough. I would definitely use them again.

We looked around for an Airport transfer from Barbati Beach to Corfu old Town and Gerekos Transfers were excellent. I organised a private tour of locations connected with The Durrells for my brother-in-law's birthday surprise. I was slightly apprehensive, as I've only ever been on arranged excursions before. I needn't have worried! From initially arranging over email and WhatsApp, Konstantinos Gerekos kept in regular contact. The day itself was fantastic! Konstantinos picked us up at our hotel in a spacious air-conditioned Mercedes and managed to cram in so much, including some surprises, not usually on the tour (also allowing time to explore the locations without being rushed). We were finally dropped off back at our hotel. I recommend this company very highly.
