About Old Perithia
Stone houses, cobbled paths, and a cluster of small churches make up this extraordinary hillside settlement, which sits in almost complete silence apart from the wind and the occasional sound from one of the handful of traditional tavernas that have opened in recent years. It is the kind of place that feels genuinely undiscovered, even if word has slowly spread among travellers looking for something beyond the beach.
Getting to Palia Perithia requires navigating mountain roads that rise steadily above the north coast of the island.
